It's not everyday you get to see the pile toe to concrete interface at a scale larger than 76mm geotechnical core. This photo is of a 900mm diameter core of a pile toe on a recent project. Gives confidence the pile construction methodology was appropriate for the ground conditions at the site with liner seals intact and clean pile bases.
