North Brisbane Cycleway is a critical cycle corridor for great Brisbane, connecting the CBD through to Chermside.
CGC provided geotechnical investigation services and the detailed geotechnical design of the retaining walls supporting the rail bridge abutments of the North Brisbane Cycleway.
Remedial works included cutting back the existing bridge abutment and construction of a retention system. This challenging section of the cycleway was adjacent to a tributary of the Brisbane River, with two live train lines and busy traffic conditions.
