Following extensive damage on Tamborine Mountain from the south east Queensland coastal trough in December 2020, a reconstruction program was undertaken which included rock anchoring, rock catch fencing and pavement rehabilitation works. 

CGC managed the geotechnical design for this significant disaster recovery project. We provided mutli-criteria analysis and options assessments to optimise the design and managed the designer and construction liaision. 

Our aerial mapping team developed an in-house UAV photogrammetry platform to fast-track design, with the ongoing aerial (UAV) site mapping providing valuable insights to inform the construction process.
